Ranganathan Society for Social Welfare and Library Development (RSSWLD) came into existence in 2009. It aims to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and information at the grass root level by setting up libraries in the rural areas. Keeping in mind the growing strength of the inmates in jails, the importance the library plays in the academics and overall development of the personality of the children, and the need to provide the best, modern facilities the decisions were taken like providing new technologies as well as more new books which are available exclusively in the markets.Installation of new furniture, books racks, cabinets, study tables and chairs was approved of.Ranganathan Society is not just like other NGOs; it contributes to the society and also participates in it.

Ranganathan Society does not just donate blanket but also conducts other regular activities like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, World Environment Day, Van Mahotsav, Ice bucket Challenge etc.It just not only give a chance to give something to the society but also to participate in such events and be all – rounder. Ranganathan Society is doing a brave job by donating blankets to the poor and needy ones who are in dire need of it, especially who lives in the street or footpath in winter.Ranganathan Society has completedits fifth batch of “Project Protsahan Chiraiyya” and as on date 150 girls has attended fifth batch of “Protsahan chiraiyya”.The project was launched with the vision to sensitize the rural underprivileged adolescent girls about all aspects of good quality life, education, health as well as their roles in the community.The project is spread over several stages called Chiraiyya Kaushal, chahek, Agradoot, Samwaad and Udaan. The first phase starts with the selection of 30 adolescent girls from lower strata of society called chiraiyya, who are determined 17 weeks’ capsule of Life Skill Education (LSE).The second stage called chahek, imparts a Basic English Education (BEE) programme.RSSWLD has continued to increase the outreach of its “Project Protsahan chiraiyya”, as on date 150 girls have taken course on “life skills” while 60 girls have attended the course on English speaking.There are 30 girls who have joined the fifth batch of “Protsahan Chiraiyya”. The students of BIMTECH always help and support in these events like donating blankets.Like every year, this year RSSWLD has also added one new chapter “Thousand Blankets ….Thousand Lives” in its Mankind Book.We also conduct several National Workshops / conferences which is a good initiative by Ranganathan Society for Social Welfare and Library Development with the help of Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida.

Ranganathan society has established 8 jail libraries.Ranganathan Society for Social welfare and library Development is a NGO which supported by Birla institute of Management Technology.It also includes various programme not just establishment of library or girl education but also like Nukkad Natak, World Environment day, workshops / conferences, Van Mahotsav Celebration, Ice Bucket Challenge etc.We create unforgettable experiences, bringing brands to life.This NGO plays a vital role in itself and for BIMTECH people.The “Project Protsahan chiraiyya” signifies educating rural girls and also to empower them by providing“Life Skill Education”(LSE) and “Basic English Education” (BEE).It was started at Neemka Shajahanpur, Jewar Tehsil, U.P. “Project Protsahan Chiraiyya” has launched its fifth batch successfully and as on date there are 150 girls who have attended and participated in “Protsahan chiraiyya”.
